Bhagavata is best described in its own words: rasa. It means "nectar." Nectar here denotes "a kind of joy" which one derives by coming into contact with God in and through his divine sports.
I do not want to get material life. I do not want sense-life but something higher. That is renunciation. Then, by the power of meditation, undo the mischief that has been done.
