More than a hundred years have gone by since the Ramakrishna Mission's saga of service began in May 1897 and a hundred and one years have rolled by since its formal registration in May 1909. This is the commemorative volume published on the occasion of the centenary of this great event and aims to delineate the ideal and the activities of the Ramakrishna Mission in brief. Printed in four colour on high quality art paper with many colour photographs.
The disciple must have great power of endurance. Life seems comfortable; and you find the mind behaves well when everything is going well with you. But if something goes wrong, your mind loses its balance. That is not good. Bear all evil and misery without one murmur of hurt, without one thought of unhappiness, resistance, remedy, or retaliation. That is true endurance; and that you must acquire.
